Well, I've returned back to Singapore. Had a two days one night stay in Malaysia. Did some activities. I took 1 hour 45 minutes to type this whole thing. Well that is because I don't want to miss out all the fun which I would want to remember again when reading this. Have fun reading this whole post! It's gonna be a long way down.!
First day, we went trekking then to abseiling. On the way to the waterfall for the abseiling, we saw a snake. This stranger which I have made friends with shouted. And I did not realize till I looked down and noticed that I was stepping at the end of the snake. Shocked, but lucky it was already dead. The water was so damn cold, when it hits my huha, I thought it froze.
So we continued up along the long highway and went back in the jungle. Unfortunately, I got bitten most by the mosquitoes. And Kak Jid said I have sweet blood. ( heheh ) But I rinsed the spots that got bitten with the waterfall's cold water. And it disappeared. Maybe if I get mosquito bites in the future, I would try to put pack of ice on it? And see if it rarely itches. Because after I rinsed, I couldn’t care less about it.
So we reached our destination, The Waterfall where we had to abseiled down. Ofcourse, ladies first. And my oh my was Kak Jid so smooth when she was abseiling down the waterfall. One by one went down. Went Ari went down, I hold on to the ropes tight and take a look at him. He was doing well when he suddenly slipped. He slipped badly even though he did not get any bad bruise. ( sry others who went down the waterfall, I did not had the chance to look at you guys because I had sands in the wrong places. )
Anyways, after Ari went down, the only person left up on the waterfall was me and Haikal. So I went down first.
First quarter down, I know I was doing well, using the technique. Half of the way down, the slippery rocks made me slipped but it was lucky that I was just an inch on a safe place to stand and take a very short rest because I let go of the ropes. My heart beating twice as fast. But told myself to calm down. Because I am already half way there.
And then, I suddenly tilt to the right side after a minute or two when I continued. So I had to put force on my left side of the body which I did, in order to stay still. And at the part, freaking cold water running down on me. And it was quite hard to breathe since it was freaking cold.
Then, 3/4 of the way down. Almost down on safe grounds when I slipped and banged my elbow hard on the slippery but rough rocks, and straight away banged my shoulder. Dang that did hurt a little. But then again, the cold water kept on running down on me so I couldn’t feel anything for that short while. Now that? Maybe I had the worse bruise among all.
So after everyone was down, some of us decided to take a dip in the water. Took a couple of proper photos. And beside the huge waterfall, was a mini waterfall. And even though it was that small, still cold. I just stood there, walking in and out of the spot at the mini waterfall. And I didn't knew who took a candid photo of me and my two best buds ( cousin ) Ari and Haikal all in the same shot. Then, Peter ( our trekking guide), cut a long bamboo pole. And again he cut that long bamboo pole into smaller ones to make a tea pot. And he is very intelligent I tell you. He made a some sort of spoon to spread the canned tuna on the bread. So we drank tea which was boiled from a bamboo pole and had tuna sandwiches which was spread from a long spoon looking bamboo.
After all those were done, we had a walk back to the car. Ofcourse, we had to use the same way, crossing that stream of freaking cold river. And finally we made it back to our car. And we all sat down on the hard ground to wait for the paintball activity ( which I really have been wanting to do since 3-4 months back ). Waited and waited for an hour and a half. And got told that the paintball was cancelled. Might do it the next day. So then, OFF WE WENT TO THE HOTEL!
Going up the car park was such a big problem because the space is very very small. But we made it. Checked in and went to the hotel room. In the hotel room which was shared between Ari, Haikal, Asyraf and I, we ( and by we, meaning Ari, Haikal and I ) was told that if the paintball activity won’t happen, then we will all go to Sunway and do archery. ( And I found out that archery was my hidden talent )
But the paintball activity did happen. And the game was hurting, but fun.
My team mate in the game was:
Kak Jid's younger sister ( sorry I have forgotten your name again );
Aisyah;
Sofia;
Kak Jid's friend. (forgot your name also, sorry );
and I.
And our opponents are:
Kak Jid;
Wahida;
Ari;
Haikal
Their team had only 4 person because they have two guys in their team. I was the only guy in my team.
First round, shot Haikal, Ari and Kak Jid. The spot where Haikal got shot by me, was the worst bruise for the whole paintball game. We won the round.
Second round, the same thing happened. I shot those three again, while my team mates shot the others. We won the round again.
Third round, we played flag game. Where we have to capture the flag and bring it to our base. We all switched players. So again, my team-mates was:
Wahida ( Kak Jid's youngest sister);
Ari;
Kak Jid's friend;
Aisya;
And I.
And our opponents are:
Kak Jid;
Kak Jid's younger sister;
Haikal;
Sofia;
And a new guy we don't know but we didn't mind having him to play for their team so both teams are of the same number of people.
Unfortunately, our team did not win that round. And that round was the first round for me to get shot in the whole game. And earlier on before the game, the head marshall said, if the distance between opponent and you are near, shoot the legs. Ofcourse, I was too shocked when I saw Haikal, and I didnt think about the legs and just shot him at the kidney area. And he shot back right below my waist but at the side of my ass. Wasn't that near. Roughly around 2-3 meters away. And the funny thing was, I kept on running into the same opponent, Kak Jid. So this is what I told her at the last game. I will go right while she go left.
So the last game, when game was commenced, I ran into Kak Jid again. And that's when we both realised that from her base, her left is my right. That was funny. And our team won that last round. So it was a tie. And head marshal says, why not have another round to see which team wins. And I suggested we play standard game instead of flag game. And yes, our team won. But no matter which team wins, we all had fun. So we put that winning part of the game aside and told ourselves it was never about winning but it was about having fun. After the whole game finishes Ari, Haikal Asyraf and I, went for a quick dip in the nearby stream of river. Which is the same as I mentioned before. Then, we went shopping. Bought two shirts from Union bay, a shirt from F.O.S and another two shirts from Royal Sporting House. Then we made our way back home. Had a few pit stops. Ate at A&W at one of the pit stops. And send Aunty La back home first, then Aisyah and Sofia. Then Ari, Haikal, Asyraf and I ate at Sempang Bedok and saw a bapok. What the fuck I MUST say. When we left Sempang Bedok, I checked the table where we were seating at to see if we left anything behind. And I just took a glance at the bapok. And he/she gave a smile at me. WHAT THE FUCK. I know you would want to say WHAT THE HELL instead of that. So it's ok. I just ignored, walked and pointed ' the finger ' at him/her when no one, not even the guys was looking. And I crashed at Haikal's house because it was 4.45am then.
That is just about it. Enjoy reading the post? My longest post yet. And I am sorry but I do not have the pictures. I will post them when I get it from Kak Jid's younger sister.
And I must say, all the things that happened between these two days, is because I know that HE wanted us all to have fun. So I say,
Alhamdulillah
